Arguments
“I don´t want us to argue.” – most likely we´ve all said or heard that sentence before. However, arguments have always been an integral part of human communication. We experience them in our daily lives, in the media, as a commentary in political debate and social issues. In our social and private life, in our families and partnerships arguments are common.
Arguments happen when there is no just single monodirectional view and people courage to raise their voice. Arguments may happen when expectations are not met, or perspectives differ.
An argument in not inherently bad. In a democratic community, positive and interesting arguments offer chances to facilitate understanding, exchange views, and build bridges. Sometime, speaking less and listening more can turn an argument into a positive experience.
