Resilient People (Part 2) – Flow
Our life is like this: Noone ever asked whether we would like to be born. You get thrown in this life like a fish in the cold water of a river. Noone ever asked if you would like to swim or not. Whatever will happen – you will not leave this situation alive.
You have various options:
a) You can be unhappy and unsatisfied and drown
b) You can somehow listless and freezing try to stand it till it´s over
c) You can somehow try to find a sense, a meaning, a rational and be frustrated because it may not be visible and not appear
Or you can:
d) Swim in your life like a fish in the river. Seeing the joy in being alive. Telling yourself that it was always your plan to spend your whole like in cold water, cold water is my passion. Isn´t it the greatest fun on earth to swim in cold water and to enjoy every day the fun and the challenges travelling with it?
That´s what resilient people tend to do. Theay do accept life as it is and try to make the best out of every situation. They follow their own standards, are flexible where needed and clear in their guiding principles. To translate such resilience into the performance of an organization is not easy but doable. It will be a fundamental change in culture, and the profitability will go up. Are we crazy with this statement? No. It is proven in practice repeatedly turning challenging situations into commercial success. Feel invited to talking to us.
